At Musical Den by way of independent Tutors we offer lesson facilities for most instruments including Voice, students / pupils can choose to have lessons as often or as little as they wish for example once week, once a fortnight, once every now and again it is entirely up to you as we appreciate that in this day and age there are many other commitments and budgets that have to be attended to. Should you find after booking an appointment there is need to cancel, then simply pick up the telephone and let us know as soon as possible (even if it is on the day) and there will be no penalties for none attendance.

We are here to assist and encourage students of all ages in music skills and for those that wish to take grades then this is not a problem just let us know when attending, most students just want to learn how to play or sing and that is also fine by us. So whether you are seven or seventy it matters not, why not get a worthwhile hobby that will give you many hours of pleasure.

The facilities are offered seven days a week (except Bank Holiday Mondays and the 25th and 26th December) and offer lessons as follows:

Guitar and Drums - Monday through to Friday at anytime between 9am and finishing at 6.30pm, on the hour or half hour the last booking being at 6pm for half an hour.

Guitar and Drums - Saturday at anytime between 9am and finishing at 4.30pm the last booking being at 4pm for half an hour.

Guitar and Drums - Sunday at anytime between 9am and finishing at 1.30pm the last booking being at 1pm for half an hour.

Saxophone (all) Clarinet, and Flute at times arranged by appointment including weekends.

Vocal - Monday through to Friday at anytime between 2pm and finishing at 6.30pm the last booking being at 5.30pm. (Excluding weekends)

Violin, Cello, Viola - at times arranged by appointment including weekends.

Piano and Keyboards at times arranged by appointment including weekends.

We are adding other instrument tutors to our list during each year so if the instrument is not listed please either Email or telephone to see if your instrument has been added to our facilitated services.

ALL lessons are for either 25 minutes or 55 minutes and termed as either a workshop (which is when there may be 1, 2 or 3 students in that session) or a one to one lesson and students in workshops are generally sorted into ability levels, thus an absolute beginner would not be with someone who had some knowledge. Often, even workshops are done on a one for one basis at the workshop price, because we first fill the time slots before adding students to a workshop.

The Charges for lessons by our independent Tutors are as follows:

VOCAL £25 per 55 minute session, PIANO/KEYBOARD £24 per 55 minute session, £12.50 per 25 minute session, ALL OTHER INSTRUMENTS are £16 per 55 minute session and £9 per 25 minute session.

The Tutors can facilitate all types and styles of music requirements, just let us know what you want and we can then agree the provision.
